Resolution and package.json exports

How a bare specifier like 'lodash' becomes a file on disk, and how a package controls which of its files are reachable at all. Interviewers ask about the exports field because it both encapsulates internals (deep imports suddenly fail) and is where dual CJS/ESM packages get their conditions wrong.
